Crab a la King over Red Lobster Biscuits Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 box of Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Follow package instructions. Just lightly brush with the seasoned butter.

1/2 pound crab claw or lump meat
1/2 pound bay scallops or shrimp or fish
3 cups milk
1 can cream shrimp
3/4 cup diced onions
3/4 cup frozen peas
1 small jar drained pimentos
4 large cloves minced garlic
1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
zest of one lemon
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes - optional
1/4 tsp. black pepper
salt to taste
2 tbsp. unsalted butter
2 tbsp. flour
oil to saute scallops

In a pan on medium high heat, add oil and saute scallops
for 1-2 minutes, remove from pan and set to side.

In a pan on medium heat, add butter and diced onions.
Stir and cook for one minute.
Add pimentos, black pepper, garlic and red pepper flakes.
Stir and cook for one minute.
Add flour and stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Slowly add half of milk, turn up heat to bring to simmer,
stir until no lumps and add remaining milk.
Add cream of shrimp and stir and cook or 5 minutes.
Add lemon zest, lemon juice and peas and stir.
Add fresh parsley, crab meat and bay scallops.
Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Serve over biscuits, bread, toast, pasta or rice.
Enjoy.

This recipe is my copycat version of how to make Cheetos cookies. Cheetos cookies are made from Cheetos puffs and have a unique and interesting flavor of sweet and savory. Great cheddar cheese flavor with a soft texture and a Cheetos dust exterior. These Cheetos cookies are fun to make and bake....and eat. Don't forget to lick your fingers! Enjoy.

How to Make Cheetos Cookies ~ Cheesy Cheetos Cookie Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/4 cup flour
4 cups of whole Cheetos puffs - to be crumbled
1 tbsp. powdered cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter - room temp
1/4 cup shortening - room temp
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg

**I used 4 full cups of Cheetos puffs and crumbled in
food processor. You will need the extra for rolling
and topping the cookies.

In a bowl combine the flour, Cheetos crumbs, salt,
baking soda, cream of tartar and powdered cheddar cheese.
Mix well to combine.

In another bowl add the room temperature butter, shortening
and sugar. Mix and cream well together. Add egg and mix
well again.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in batches
and mix well.
Cover and refrigerate dough for at least 30 minutes.

Make the cookie dough balls (3/4" to 1") and gently press
down to slightly flatten. (or you can leave as ball).

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until crackled on
top.
Remove from the oven and garnish. Let cookies completely
cool.
Can store in a lidded air tight container.
Enjoy.

*Yields 2 dozen small cookies and 1 to 1 1/2 dozen larger cookies

In this video I show you how to make Hershey's hot cocoa directly for the recipe on the box. We usually top the mug of hot chocolate with some marshmallow fluff and a little sprinkle of cocoa powder. 1/3 cup hot water

Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in a saucepan.
Stir in water. Cook and stir over medium
heat until mixture boils. Boil and stir
2 minutes.
Stir in milk and heat. DO NOT BOIL.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.

INGREDIENTS
2 cups cooked diced chicken
10 cups chicken broth
1 cup diced onions
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced carrots
1 minced clove of garlic
1/8 tsp. or sprinkle of thyme
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley - optional
salt and black pepper
oil

In a pan on medium heat add a little oil, onions, celery, carrots
and salt and pepper.
Stir and cook for 3-5 minutes. 
Add garlic and thyme. Stir and cook for one minute.
Slowly add chicken broth and turn up heat to bring to simmer.
Cover and cook for 20-30 minutes.
Add cooked chicken and noodles. Stir and cook for 
10 minutes. 
Enjoy.

How to Make Easy Picadillo ~ Ground Beef Hash Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ground beef
1 cup finely diced onions
1 cup finely diced bell peppers
1/2 cup whole/sliced olives
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup fresh chopped parsley
handful of fresh chopped cilantro
1 tsp. Sazon
1 tsp. Oregano
1/2 tsp. cumin
salt and black pepper
3-4 finely minced cloves garlic
oil

In a pan on medium high add some oil and ground beef.
Stir, chop and cook for 3-5 minutes until no longer
pink.
Add onions, peppers, minced garlic and salt and pepper.
Stir and cook for a couple more minutes.
Add tomato sauce, chopped parsley, sazon, oregano and
cumin. Stir and cook for another minute.
Add olives and raisins, stir and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add water, bring up to a simmer, partially cover and
cook for 10-15 minutes.
Add chopped cilantro, stir and cook for one minute.
Serve.

How to Make The Best Chinese Chicken Vermicelli ~ Chinese Stir Fry Recipe

INGREDIENTS
1 package of vermicelli noodles - I used a handful for a serving
2 eggs
onions
carrots
mushrooms
green garden onions
bell peppers
4-5 cloves minced garlic
1/4 tsp. minced ginger
1-2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. oyster sauce
oil

Chicken prep:
1 pound of chicken breast cut into small slices
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. rice vinegar or Shao Hsing rice wine
1 medium egg white

PREP:
In a bowl add sliced chicken, soy sauce, vinegar and egg white.
Mix until combined, cover and set to the side while you prep
the vegetables and preheat the wok/pan.

In a bowl pour very hot water over vermicelli noodles and let
soak for 15-20 minutes, drain and then rinse with cold water.

Julienne all vegetables

In a pan on medium heat add some oil and beaten eggs.
Stir, chop and cook for 2-3 minutes until cooked and in small
pieces. Remove from the pan.

In a pan on high heat add some oil and chicken.
Spread out and let cook for 20-30 seconds before stirring.
Stir and cook for 3-5 minutes until done. Remove from the pan.

In a pan on high heat add vegetables and stir for 1-2 minutes.
Add garlic and ginger. Stir and cook for 30 more seconds.
Add back in the vermicelli, eggs, chicken, green onions,
soy sauce and oyster sauce.
Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes until well combined and
vermicelli is aldente.
Enjoy.

INGREDIENTS:
2-3 pound smoked turkey thigh
1 cup ketchup
1 cup chili sauce
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 cup finely diced onion
1 cup finely diced bell pepper
1 tsp. finely minced seeded jalapeno pepper - optional
2 tbsp. pickle relish or finely diced dill pickles
2 tsp. minced garlic
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
black pepper
Mix all together in crock pot / slow cooker.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours.

Pickled Red Onions:
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onions
1/2 thinly sliced julien seeded jalapeno
2 thinly sliced cloves of garlic
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tbsp. packed brown sugar
kosher salt
black pepper
Mix all together and refrigerate.
Enjoy.
